Submission Requirements: You must email (heartinkartscommunity@gmail.com) a picture of your submission piece, including size by MAY 21st for table spacing. You should submit a photo of:
1 piece they have completed in class (best work)
1 piece that they have challenged themselves to draw or paint on their own at home according to the THEME.
THEME: “ARTWORK from the Great Artist” Draw and color something that is not made my human hands, but is from the Great Artist as a Creator (something in nature, animals, flowers, food, people, etc. that we value and appreciate.)
All artwork must be fully colored in or painted, not partially completed.
A prize will be given for the most noticeable effort for each grade level.
They are responsible to label, mount, and display their artwork in the room between 5:10-5:25 p.m.
a) Written Information: students must neatly write on a white 3x5 card:
First and Last Name
Age
Date of completion
Title of the Artwork
And the medium (Oil pastel and watercolor, acrylic on canvas, etc.)
b) It must have a frame OR a paper border around the artwork
c) It must be displayed with table easel or mounted on a display board able to stand on a table.
